Help you bargaining committee spread the word about the date and time of the Strike Authorization Vote. Passing a Strike Vote GIVES YOUR COMMITTEE THE AUTHORITY TO USE A STRIKE, IF NECCESSARY, TO REACH A FAIR AND EQUITABLE SETTLEMENT .” As your bargaining committee, we need to hear from you-show up and vote! On March 19, your bargaining council held a coalition strike authorization vote and 94% voted “YES” to authorize a strike. Your “YES” vote gives your bargaining council the authority to call for a strike, if necessary.
Cleveland / Cincinnati Ohio Casino Workers Council is a coalition of JACK Casino workers and unions fighting for strong pay and benefits. The unions in our coalition are IATSE, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), UNITE HERE, the United Steelworkers (USW), and the United Auto Workers (UAW).
